Getting Started

  1. Install Hermes Agent using the command `curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NousResearch/hermes-agent/main/scripts/install.sh | bash`
  2. Reload the shell using `source ~/.bashrc` to make the `hermes` command available
  3. Start the interactive CLI using `hermes` and follow the prompts to configure the agent
  4. Configure the agent's tools and models using `hermes tools` and `hermes model` commands
  5. Try `hermes gateway setup` and `hermes gateway start` to verify that the agent can be accessed from messaging platforms
